Hi everyone,
I have a 36 gallon bowfront tank mildly planted that has been up and running since the end of September. I have 5 scwartz's cory cat, 10 cardnial tetras and an angelfish. I had 2 angelfish and 6 cory cats but my heater went crazy and heat went up too fast and they died. I now have 2 smaller jager heaters so that doesn't happen again. Its been about a month since all that, I wanted to make sure everybody else would be ok. So now I want to add my last addition. I really love Angels but am worried that they will not get along since my gold angel has been solo for a month and is not as young (a little bigger than a quarter) I have had angels before in a bigger tank but had to downsize, due to space in our new home. I also thought about apistogramma (orange flash), GBR's or bolivians. The reason I resisted the latter two was I love my corys and am worried they would be harassed by the other dwarf bottom dwellers. I also would love to see more action in the middle top of tank. The cardinals do a pretty good job but they are no angelfish. Like I said I know that angels can be temperamental I have had them but in a 120 gallon and for the most part all got a long except 2 of the 6. I have tried finding info on adding another angel while mine is still pretty young, but can only find info on adding one with a full grown adult. There really is no way of redecorating the tank as it is a rock cave (built with rocks so I probably could never get it back together like that) and some mopani wood and lots of low light plants that are planted. So my question is what would you all do? Also any expereince with those dwarf cichlids and corys would be great! Thanks in advance.
