Cichlid/Oscar and eel

I am going to be getting an orange spotted eel soon and I was wondering if my cichlids or oscars would eat it. The cichlids are, at max, 3" and the oscars are 2.5" and the eel is supposed to be 6". Thoughts?

They will.eat of or pick at it till its dead then eat it
