I woke up yesterday morning to discover one of my clowns has disappeared without a trace. After tearing apart the tank I've determined he died sometime in the night and my nessarius snails made short work of the body.
The two clowns had been in the tank for about three months and were looking good. Eating well and growing well. 2 weeks ago I added a six line wrasse to the mix. The six line and the clown never really got along, not big fights but the would pick on each other a little. Especially during feedings. Anyways. Is my six line a murderer??
The six line and remaining clown seem to be doing fine, they don't appear to be sick at all.

I diubt the 6 line killed it. It may have stressed the clown out which could have led to death, but we need to know what your levels are before making assumptions.

Ammonia is 0. Nitrate is very low, under 1ppt

Specific gravity is 1.023.
Temp stays right around 79
I check these frequently. Every day or every other day and have never noticed large fluctuations.
