Cory cat

What type of Cory cat is this? They always look different at the LFS than when you get them home.

thats what i was just gonna say too. if its not that it could be a pale spotted. they look similar
 
It looks mostly grey in color I'm not seeing a green tinge, I don't see spots either that's what had me stumped.
 
you had me stumped so i had to figure it out because i have 3 of the same..
it is a Brochis Cory Cat also known as an emerald cat

Not many do but don't be afraid to tell them, ignorance is not bliss! Also, if they don't know what kind of fish they have....what ELSE DON'T they know.
 
That doesn't look like my emerald corys- it's face is more round. My emeralds have a longer, kind of 'pointy' face. I think it's a bronze cory.
 
They are fun to watch, I was surprised that sometimes they swim to the top of the tank!

Mine have learnt to skim the surface around the edges of the tank when I drop freeze-dried worms in. They are so cute, motoring along slurping up as many as they can before the loaches can get them all.
