I've got a nano tank in my office with a marbled crayfish. Well more than one now since they are hermaphroditic. i can't keep more than one in the tank, the survivor of the offspring is about 2.5" long now. I'm thinking about dropping it into my mbuna tank. Bad idea?

When it molten it will be gone

No doubt. I hadn't thought of that. It was just a whim of a thought I had and thought I would throw it out there.

Well I won't be adding it to the mbuna tank. Can't put him in my planted tank either. Maybe I'll just wait for it to get full grown, nuke it and have it with a nice remoulade along with a bologna sandwich.

In reality I will take him to my LFS. Eating a crayfish from my tank just soundslike a waste. If I farmed a few hundy it would be another story. There was an AYCE crayfish special at a good seafood joint in town during conference champ weekend a couple weeks ago though. yum.
