Finally today turned 4ppm
Ammonia to nitrites to nitrates in 24hrs after a long 5 weeks

My nitrates are very high ATM , so what did I do now ?
Do a big water change to get them to 0 , then I'm all good to add fish ?
Or is there other things that need to be done ?

Maybe add a small amount of ammonia and chech again in 24 hours to make sure that the ammonia and nitrites drop to zero just to be sure. Then 90% water change. Use your prime to get rid of the likes of chorine and chloramines .
