Cycling a tank question

Im assuming this is a yes, but can you cycle a tank if your using all fake plants and decorations?

You can. All you need to begin the nitrogen cycle is an ammonia source and oxygen.

I've done the cycle on the 3 planted tanks I have, just haven't done it on a non planted tank so I was wondering. Thanks for the replies.
