EHEIM battery operated Sludge extractor???????

Does this thing do the same as a gravel VACCUM????? (maybe a dumb question, but what are noob's for)

If so, is it worth it, does it really work??????

Its kind of the same...the major difference being that the eheim thing is only removing detris, while a gravel vaccum removes detris while it also removes water from the system.

So, the sludge extractor removes crud, but doesn't do squat to help you change out the water.
And if you're doing regular water changes like you should, then you don't need the sludge extractor.
