Just added him to the main tank. So far he leaves my clowns alone and is scared of the cleaner shrimp.

I like all my fish but this guy's personality is cool. He is always moving from rock to rock keeping an eye on everything. I can see how he got his name, when he stops to check things out his head moves back and forth like a bird.

I thought hawkfish would eat small inverts like shrimp and hermits etc? If not that would be cool as I'd love to get one when I upgrade my tank. Neat looking fish! Fish with personalities are always the best.

I am hopeful that the cleaner shrimp is big enough that he will leave them alone. He has dove down on one of my hermits but all he got was hard shell. So far he has been swimming by the cleaners and no problems.
