Feeding mbuna

Would 2 1/2 inch long mbunas eat small minnows?

No mine don't but they love baby guppies and ghost shrimp and crushed trumpet snails. If you go to your local pet dealer you should be able to get trumpet snails for free

You shouldn't feed mbuna minnows or any other protein heavy foods this can cause bloat and death. Mbuna are algea grazers and should be eating veggie pelltes or flakes.

They will eat the minnows, but you shouldn't feed them for the reasons above and the risk of disease being transferred
