I'm with you, growing them out slow is often worth it.

its very frustrating but the end results are well worth it.I have Lyonsi and Beani growing out right now.

Many fishkeepers give up and go for a species that grows quickly.But for me it's well worth the wait.2 years ago I had 1 150 Gallon tank full of a mixture of Mbuna and Haps.I now have 7 species only CA/SA tanks.The only African tank I have Is a 100L Kribensis tank.

I agree, I have a 125 African but my apistogramma are my real hobby. The Africans are more for show. I have an empty 126 that I want to try geophagus in. Cbourg inspired that one lol
