Filter or Co2?

What are the two tubes on the side for? Is that for Co2 or filtration? I have always wondered. Nature Aquariums and Aquascaping Ideas Aquarium-Hardscape-Ideas

They look like a glass lily tube set. They are the filter intake and return. Same as regular old plastic ones but prettier.

The one on the right with the bubbling white disk is the CO2 tubing and the disk thing is the diffuser. Not entirely sure what the other one is, but I guess it is a part to the filter, yes.

Didn't notice the white disk. Yes, that is the CO2 diffuser.
