First 55 Gal + DIY Canopy

So I picked up this aquarium about three weeks ago, it's now partially stocked and cycling. I currently have 4 cichlids, 2 ghost knifes, and 2 angles. I built a customized canopy to work with my lighting unit... It's a little unconventional but it works for me!

Nice. The tank looks so bright! Is it acrylic or glass? I see a frame so maybe glass?

x2 im actually looking to do the same setup but add a pleco & only 1 ghost knife. it'd be cool to know what cichlids you worked in with the angels and the ghost knife.

So the tank is glass (55 gallon). It's so bright because I lined the inside of the canopy with foil tape I picked up from homedepot, it reflects light very well. The cichlids are African, I had to return the largest one as he was nipping at the angles.. but all seems to be well now.
