Jaguar cichlid can get 12-20 inches and are pretty aggressive. my son was looking at these for the tank in his room but it was recommended he house it alone in a 6 foot tank minimum. He already bought and set up a 40g breeder so that limited what he could get. He ended up getting pink and black cichlids. Now he is saving for another tank

The information above is correct but my concern with that picture is the fish looks bloated/swollen around his stomach.

Just be careful and watch his behavior, even after a feeding the fish should never be that bloated.
