The tank is 37 gallons, cycled, planted (4 jungle vals, 2 amazon swords, 1 cabomba), sand substrate, petrified wood "rocks", and 3 mopani driftwood peices. Here is a pic:

It has an aqueon 20 filter ( given to me with the aquarium, ) which will soon be joined by a marineland 55/75. I want a peaceful community aquarium. Maybe even a south american biotope type aquarium since i have the SA plants already. However, i would not be opposed to an Asian theme. I was thinking maybe 2 small schools and a group of corys. I understand that these are schooling/shoaling fish and I will need 6 or more of each of these species. Anyways I have researched and come up with a few ideas.

1) 7 corys
7 phantom tetras, lemon tetras or pristella tetras
13 glowlight tetras

2) 7 corys
7 harlequin rasbosas
13 glolight tetras

3) 7 corys
9 tiger barbs
9 zebra danios

4) 6 corys
2 sets of 6 tetras, rasbosas, barbs or danios
1 centerpeice

any thoughts, advice or other suggestions would be most appreciated
