what kind of algae eaters do you guys have for your tanks? I have a 10G, so i could use some suggestions for a nice small algae eater : )
I would like the SAEs, but i can't find them D:
the pet shop had a clown pleco, I might spring for him. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Otocinclus (midget suckermouth catfish) are tiny and are great algae eaters. 2 would be good to have in that tank. SAE's can get to be 4 inches, so they're not the best choice for your tank. I'm also pretty sure that clown plecos really aren't very good algae eaters, compared to bristlenoses and rubbernoses.

I've got otos, SAEs and Amano shrimp in my tank. The otos get most of the green stuff. the shrimps are the most active eaters. The SAE are the only ones that eat the stringy algae. Matt is right though...the SAEs will get pretty big for you tank...but it'll take a while.

alright, i think i will look for thouse otocinclus : )
thanks for the suggestions guys!

ya i have some blue rams too, they like the same kinda water specs i think : )
hopefully they will work out alright : )
