Green algae

I have algae growing which my snails love but they're not keeping up with the house work. I have mag cleaner but it's hard sometimes to clear it up.

What am I doing wrong or is this normal

What type of algae? Where in the tank is it? Pics? Water parameters? What's your feeding schedule like?

What type of algae is it?

Have you diagnosed?

Is it GSA? Green spots on your glass.


If so you must use a razor blade to scrape off.

Don't know what type of algae- but its on my glass & it grows on the sand till my gold head goby takes care of it. I've cut down the time on lights seems to work somewhat

The one which grows on your sand could actually be a bacteria rather than an algae.
