Help! New feather duster

I just added a new feather duster to my 14g biocube. Maybe like 3 Inchs when out. He keeps slimin a lot even tho he is out. I am confused! My parameters are normal just a little lo salinity. At 1.023 specific gravity. Salinity is 31. Is the slime bad? Will it hurt fish or corals?

Is the colour coming off too... I am not an expert with feather dusters but like star fish they melt when they die. How long have you had him for?

No he's fine, he was just acclimating
