I'm sorry man I keep forgetting your lights are in the way. I have no more ideas unless you can suspend the light a bit
 
That would help a bit man, if you could then I can work on a list of things you will need to get this going perfect so the intake and output tubes are stuck to the back glass. All I need is the tube size

Before we get start i wanna make sure my plan for hanging the light is the best way to do it i am thinking about using ceiling hooks and light chain. What do you think? Heres my lightImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1394565850.781619.jpg

I would do 2 hooks and try and attach it to the light like this. Make a triangle type one each end and run 1 line straight to the ceiling
