One of my fish is going.side to side and going in circles. Why is this.what can I do to help it .

Looks like a red spotted severum to me.

One of two things. Swim bladder issue (usually bacterial) or Internal parasites introduced from feeding sickly feeder fish.

oh and some algaefix while you are at it! haha kidding

just good water quality and big frequent water changes will do the trick. tell us if it gets worse or continues in a few weeks. the fish might just be having fun haha
