I have a 30 gallon tank currently housing 1 adolescent pink gourami 1 adolescent 3 spot blue gourami, 5 small danios n 2 baby oscars- yes, I'm already working on my partitioned 100 gallon tank for one oscar on the 60 gallon side n my gouramis n danios on the 40 gallon side, plus I have an 80 gallon octagonal for my other oscar :) Plz lemme know if u think of a better set up... As u may have noticed I have no bottom feeders. My pink gourami has aggressively tormented 2 pleco now rehabbing in a 10 gallon tank n killed a pleco, a honey gourami n a dwarf gourami... I'm thinking catfish but not sure which ones 2 go for... Any advice would b great

Hi!
I would wait until the other tanks are setup and the oscars are moved before adding any new fish. IMO 60g is too small for one oscar. They really need 75-80g minimum each.

So glad u made the suggestion 2 wait- rethought my set up based on ur recommendation on over 60g for one oscar, cycling the 100g at full, cycling 80g. I'll just keep my gouramis n danios in my 30g n I have a 10g n a 25g as sick/rehab tanks... do u know if my gourami tank will get a little less messy without the oscars in it? Oscars seem 2 b as dirty as goldfish... I'm new 2 tropical freshwater, I've had pond fish- koi, goldfish, catfish etc so I'm becoming ever so much more aware of how different fish really r. Thanx
