I am always very concerned when a new fish don't eat and stay shy. Please let me know how long a fish can stay without eating anything. Thanks.

kas...

Most aquarium fish can easily go a couple of weeks without food. If you add some floating plants like Hornwort or Water sprite to the tank, they'll help the new fish feel more comfortable. These plants also add nutrients to the fish's diet and help filter the tank water.

Three weeks. Its very long time tbh. I have few mono angels and only one of them not eating for like two weeks now but very active.

Also bought green Scats and introduced them yesterday and they are not eating obviously because new.

Have you tried different foods, including greens?
Tried each and every food. Greens, staple pallets, flakes, blood worms, krill. Only one particular fish is refusing to eat all others are very heavy appetite now.
