is anything easy?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone with an interest in aquariums or fish keeping!

How can i post a pic directly to my page and not a link? From a Mac? Or from an iPhone?

I use photo bucket which is very easy. If you post a lot in the normal way then you may reach your website quota and you'll have to use an outside source.

But from iPhone there should be an image button under where you type. That's how you upload normally. Not sure on Mac.

+1

I'm on iPhone and instead of photobucket I use Imgur. I unload photos to albums then copy links from the mobile app onto here!

Great to see you have your dream tank! Mine is still a work in progress;)

I posted this on your other thread...

You have a couple of options.
To post pictures directly from the mobile device's photo album or camera, click on the icons indicated by the blue or red arrows (in the screen where you would type your responses) as seen below:

Follow the prompts for selecting an image or taking a picture.
If you have a URL/link to an image from a third party image hosting site such as PhotoBucket, then click on ellipsis (the three dots) in the lower right of the screen and select BBCode from the menu that appears. Next, select [ IMG ]. This will place two image tags on your screen. They will look like the following.
[ IMG ] [ /IMG ]
I left in space characters around the brackets so that they would be visible on the screen. Now (the tricky part) PASTE the image's link between the two image tags. It should look like this:
[ IMG ] your link here [ /IMG ]
I prefer to type out the image tags because it is easier for me rather than pasting the link between the tags. That's like destroying the Death Star with your eyes closed.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, I can't figure out how to find stuff I posted on that other thread! I kept trying, but I still can't. Oh god I'm slow.
I just looked now on my I phone and I see the picture. When I have a free minute I'll post.

I think the tank is always gonna be a work in progress, but I really never thought I would have any success.

Can't wait to show you guys and get recommendations!!!

I'm trying now from the phone, but there's no camera option like with texting. Even the reply space is totally different. Wtf?

I'm officially everyone's annoying techno-inefficient mom. Uh Jebus.

Guess later I'll go put it on a stupid photo sharing page and post a boring old link.?

Still a bit disapointed, can't get my good pics off my phone. Anyway I had to turn the mac backwards cause the camera is only on the screen. Here goes.

Remember I'm totally new here so go easy.

The next one is the worst because you can see the computer and it's poor resolution.

To me it's really special. First time with any plants.

It's beautiful! I say well done! :clapping:

Much better than my first planted tank and those rainbows will add a nice splash of color as they grow.

Finally figured it out!!! Had to upload directly from phone to photo bucket, then go back on mac!!!

The next is funny because it's panoramic and the fish were swimming, so they look crazy!

Thanks!!!

Regarding that last pic...some crazy fish in there. Glad you clarified that.
Congrats on overcoming the techno-hurdle. ?
Tank looks colorful and lively!
