If I add 3 juvenile oscars in a tank when they get to there mature point ( 9 inches) is there a high chance that 2 will breed

better get a big tank.......lol

I had 3 oscars once and they didnt breed but thats just me.

Good luck

No there isn't a high chance unless you start with six then wait for the pair then rehome the rest but this requires a a minimum of 180g tank.

Trying to keep 3 oscars is a mistake, remember the phrase I don't want to be the third wheel? In my experience there will be aggression with the third oscar being bullied and not eating as much which will slow growth rate which will lead to further aggression. And like I said in your other post oscars are monomorphic which means there is no way to sex them and if you end up with males when they reach adolescence someone is going to get hurt or killed.

Here's some good reading on keeping more than one Oscar.
