Is this algae?

I just recently got a saltwater aquarium.. My first one. I have the nitrite cycle going and recently brown algae has starting growing all over my fish tank. All over everything and everything is brown. Here are some pictures

Is this algae bad? How do i get rid of it? Or what will eat it?

most likely diatoms. very common to a new tank. with regular water changes good maint it will clear up on its own. both of my tanks had it for a short time when they were new

diatoms is a type of algae. It's normal in new systems and should burn itself out over time.
