Complete a 5 day treatment. If this is day 5, stop, do a 50% water change in the AM and a 50% waterchange in the PM. Add salt at 1 tbs/10 Gallons. Continue changing the water 50% day, replacing the salt you take out. Continue for a week.

Aquarium Salt so long as you don't have scaleless fish.

Just got home from work to find the fish dead.
I honestly thought it was on the mend.

Determined as I was. I don't have much luck treating fish.

Thanks everyone. Yeah it is frustrating. I wasn't expecting that, really didn't appear to be deteriorating!
