So after looking for awhile trying to find a good 125 with no luck I ordered a new Marineland 125 for 299 bucks. Couldn't beat the price. My plan is to combine both my 55s into it and just have one large tank and one quarantine tank. So Wednesday this week I get to pick up my tank and as far as my stand goes I will be building it myself. The goal is to have it up in about 3 months, I have to work on it as funds allow. This will be a South American Cichlid tank, background will be black and it will have a sand substrate. I'll start out running 3 penguin 350s on it until the fluval fx6 is purchased. Then I'll probably just run the canister. I have a very large selection of Malaysian driftwood to choose from and some nice fossilized river rock. No live plants in this one going for lots of swimming space. Once it's up and running there will be 5 to 7 angelfish in it, 5 clown loaches, 3 to 5 Geophagus tapajos, and 9 rainbow fish. But future plans is a all discus tank. I'll keep the photos coming along of my progress. So far I have the materials bought for the stand which I'll get started on Saturday when I'm off.
