So I'm collecting things to start my 5gall nano after I move. I have a hood for it that holds a 20watt bulb whould a 20watt 50/50 coralife compact be enough for at least some corals

if you get a hood with a second liek that should be more then enough, that would be 8 watts per gallon, although i'm not a big fan of the whole watt per galon formula

That light should be ok for some low light corals like mushrooms or zoas.
