Aquarium Advice FINatic
I'm trying to get a hold of some Red Cherry Shrimp and I'm not having much luck, I'm looking to get about 30 of them. I've ordered some online and when they arrived, every single one of them was dead. I'd really like to get them locally if possible, or if they have to be shipped, I'd like for them to be shipped from somewhere close to me.
There have to be breeders out there, I'm just having an impossible time finding them. I'd even be willing to drive a couple hours to pick them up -- I live near Cincinnati.
I've asked a couple of LFS-es if they could get some in. I got a call from one yesterday saying they had them, but I went to check it out and there were 5 in the tank, of which only 1 was still alive. Does anyone know somebody who can sells RCS near Cincinnati?
If that doesn't work out, is it even possible to ship RCS without all of them dying? I didn't think it would be this difficult to get RCS, as much as the websites talk about it being common and easy to keep alive...
Thanks for your help.
