Malabar Puffer?

A friend of mine found these guys at a LFS but couldnt find much information on them... Every site seemed to have contradicting information.

Does anyone here have them?

What size tank?

What other fish can they be kept with? (some sites said only other puffers, another site said only one puffer, and any other fish is fine, yet another said only a puffer, period.)

Diet?
