Mating, yellow tail acei !!

Recently traded in a large aratus and a kenyi,, for 4 small yellow tail acais! All the actions show that they are mating. I'm just not sure of how I can tell when to remove the mother,,. Also not sure of what else to look for, other than the vibrating and mouth to fin actions. All help is greatly appreciated ! Thanks

The female will hold the fry for 16-21 days so somewhere in there you would want to remove her. Her gills will be piped out, she won't be eating, under her mouth she will look swollen and she will look like she is chewing on something all the time. Those are some of the ways to know she is holding plus she will hide or act funny and be more aggressive.
