Or there's the danio margaritatus/celestial pearl danio or the danio erythromicron/zebra rasobra. I'm pretty sure some of these other types of danios aren't really like the zebras...anyone have more info on them?

edit: can't get the celestial pearls they are out of stock

I had a 10 gallon and one of them dominated and wouldn't let the others ever go into one side of the tank.

They also get two inches long each. I'd recommend at least a 20 gallon.

I gave them away because I don't have room for a larger tank and I didn't like how much they chased each other.

10 gallon is easily enough. They can turn around and swim the other way so technically if they can turn around t is big enogh. They can swim miles in a .5 gallon tank they just dont go as far back and forth

Ah it's been a while since this thread. I keep a school in my 29 gal now and definitely wouldn't go smaller than a 20 long or a 29 for them after observing their behavior ;)
