my anemone wont eat! HELP!

hi,about 2 weeks ago i brought a yellow coloured anemone, i have had no problems with it apart from one, it wont EAT! i am trying to feed it very small portions of silverside but it spits it back out! what does this mean and what should i feed it? i have also noticed that its tentacles are going pale i have read that this means its starving? please help!


Also does anyone have any advice for feeding them? it would be greatly appreciated,
i have now been trying to get it to eat for a day.

The pieces may still be too large. You might try mysis shrimp first.

You dont have to feed it. I had one for seven yrs and never fed it. They can get all they need from the lighting and water column.

i feed it pieces smaller than its mouth, is it possible it doesnt like what im feeding it?

What lighting are you running over the tank?

You dont have to feed it. I had one for seven yrs and never fed it. They can get all they need from the lighting and water column.

It depends on lighting, wattage and age of the bulbs, as well as placement in the tank, also if it is being hosted or not

Is it possible that it was dyed yellow and is losing its color?
