A long long long time in the right conditions such as excellent water 10 years some have lived for 15 so you can get attached you will have them for a while

dang and with the right water conditions and maturity how often do they mate???? i dont want to have a 100 by next year you know what i mean this 4 got me by surprice

The fish will most likely end up hybirds. Hybrid Africans A should not be sold for profit and B aren't worth a dime. There's no telling the aggression level of hybrids and if sold have the chance of weakening other blood lines.
