My cichlid tank

I have a 55 gallon tank with 2 young oscars, 1 young albino Oscar, 2 plecos and 2 green terrors. I think the they have ich and want to treat with salt treatment. I have a marineland filter and about to purchase a canister filter. What should I do.

You need a much larger tank or it the ich will come back again and again, maybe other nasty diseases aswell. In the meantime turn your heater up to 86. Usually works.

My fish are still babies so I was told I don't need a bigger tank yet. If I turn up the heat is my filter enough to add the oxygen and for how many days
