My first time euthanizing a fish

Well after attempting to treat my female GBR that had popeye the condition just got worse and I realized it was time to euthanize. This being the first time I've had to do this since seriously entering the hobby and since this particular fish was one of my favorites it is a sad ending to my day.
 
I'm sorry! It's hard to do.
Seems like clove oil is the most humane method of doing it (for future referance)

Last time I had to do it I tried just freezing him because I ran out of the clove oil and I felt terrible thinking about the poor thing being so cold till it died.

Anyways, I'm sure it was for the best, better to let them have a fast death than to let them suffer...
