I currently have a 55 and 80 gallon freshwater. I been working on the 55 for about a year and just started the 80 this month.

55 containing; 3 blue dwarf gouramis, 2 snowball plecos, 2 Chinese algae eaters, 2 pearl/jewel chiclids, 1 upside down catfish, 1 electric yellow, and 1 black ear paroon shark? That's what the guy told me.

And just put water in my 80 so still empty

Here is an update for the 80 gallon. Just added plants and after the sand settles I'll take a picture of the fish.

Around 20 neon tetras, 9 red belly tetras? And 3 bala sharks.
Not sure how long the neons will live cause over night I lost 7 so if I lose them all I'm just going to go with bigger Tetras. I also plan on putting a few rainbow and red tip sharks.

Have you cycled? You water looks super cloudy, you lost the 7 neons probly because they are delicate and had an ammonia spike

I let it cycle for a week and most of them got sucked up in the filter which I knew would happen just not so much

Did you use established Filter media from another tank? Or a established filter? If not then, you haven't cycled in a week. Also you need to add a ammonia source for a cycle. You can't just let it run. :) if you did use established media I owe you a apology ;)

I just went out and. Bought the fluval added the few chemicals and treated it like I had fish in there for a week. Meaning I put a pinch of food once a day and let everything run. I did that for my 55 and it worked great

I have tested it not going to put fish in chlorine water and pay all this money for them to die. But how did I do it wrong? And what can/should I do?

A cycle like you did should take about 30-40 days. I would test the water and go from there.
I am sure that you have a lot of ammonia/nitrite build up in the tank, which it causing the cloudy water and dieing fish. You can take filter media from an established tank and that will help a bit.. But test the water first.

Well I'm going to go to my local fish store with a sample of my water and see what they say. Then petco to see what they say also, see what they say about my water and stuff in case my test kit sucks.

What test kit do you use? Most of us here at AA use the API Master kit. It's a liquid one. Works well.

So the pet store told me exactly what you said I didn't cycle it properly. So I just have to play the wait game and. Hope no more die. But worse comes to worse I lose my neons and bala. Hopelly the serpea will survive to help cycle the water better. And I'll look into that test kit

It's 20$ free shipping on amazon. I've had mine for 2 years and its not even close to being fkne

I just bought it at petco it was 30 bucks but I figure I need it so don't mind spending the extra cash to start checking my water. Just don't know what the ammonia should be at right now it's 2.0 ppm

Oh crap... It needs to be at zero! Here i will give you a link to cycling in a sec

My tank is doing a lot better just got the ammonia down But still working on the nitrite

Should have a bubble wall set up by tomorrow

Looks good, keep checking ammonia for a while and dont add any more fish. Bubble wall will help the fish breath so thats good. Dont feed but 1-2 times a day and small portions! Once ammonia is totally eradicated (in a couple weeks) you can add more fish. I know your tests read zero but always be on the look out for ammonia spikes
