I had to do a 100% water change yesterday. I switched out old sand to new play sand. I messed up and didn't rinse the sand enough so my tank was a huge milkshake. Had to drain everything and rinse sand for 6 hours.

I had all my decor in water the whole time. I've had one fish die today. But EVERY MOLLY I have ever had has died within a week. Oh well, I don't like them anyway! Hehe. But this time it got stuck between the heater and tank. SOoO maybe that did it. Okay, back on topic.

Ph was 7.0
The picture proves the rest.

Thanks for any help!ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1393392276.436455.jpg

Yeah I started to ramble. I'm good at that.

Are my levels okay for what I had to do?

well you want ammonia and nitrite to be 0 (they look a little elevated to me) so another partial water change might be in your future?

I am also not sure what the question is.
Did your filter dry out and you are worried the bacteria died? Is that the question?

The Q was are my levels okay.

Thanks you guys. I need to invest in the other kind of water testing kit. Do 30% wc tomorrow.

Idk if my filter dried out actually
Hmmmm. Will keep an eye on ammonia and nitrite. Thanks
