i havent bred betafish but i know alot about breeding them
youll need (obviously) a male and a female ( some people keep 2-3 females and one male)
youll want a recovery tank and a few ousing tanks
housing for the females and for the fry
recovery for the female that just spawned if she was beat up
youll also need a a brine shrimp factory and microworms
once the male has made a bubble nest and the female you want to breed is fat wiht eggs put them in together, leave them be and when they are done you will know the male will scare off the female at this point you remove the female and put her into the recover tank the male will care for the eggs for awhile , but some new males may just eat them, you can isolate the eggs in the tank too. once they are free swimmers feed them microworks untill they can eat brine shrimp
and that is the extent of my knowledge! hopefuly a more expirenced person will come and help id like to do this as a summer project
