Cholla wood isnt actual woo right? I thought it was what happens when a cactus dies and dries up, leaving its core behind.

I apologize for no recent updates as had my hands full with new build...got a little tank maintenance to be done today&maybe follow up with some pics..

Picked up some more neons for the tank today along with a few bloodfin tetra,acclimated&added to the qt tank...

Yes sir,thx for the recommendation..they were on sale $1 per fish ,wanted more but only 2 left to go with 12 neons...
Not a bad haul..

Tank had been in disarray for a several days...been keeping up ferts and wc's but still needed a cleanup though.
Glass cleaned substrate lightly vac'd..
The downoi had been struggling and for the most looking very unhealthy, it got yanked along with the remaining blyxa japonica...
The red myrio still struggles as the ar. mini is absolutely exploding!!!
I'll put up some pics tomorrow. Enjoy the holiday people!
