New 55G, have some questions.

So I bought a new 55G tank yesterday. Complete setup for $60. After I change the substrate, and replace the filter (only had a 20G filter on it) I want to set it up as a SA/CA cichlid tank. But before I do that, I was planning on using it to hold my 3 Yo Yo Loaches, rts, common and clown pleco's, and a Black Ghost Knife until I get my 75G tank in a month or so. Can I put my mated pair of convicts in there as well or will they bully the other fish in there?

The convicts will probably bully the other fish.You could do Bolivian rams and viejita dwarfs.SA/CA=south American/central American? correct

Yeah, south american/central american. I'll keep the convicts in the 20G until I set up the 75G. I just need to tear down some 10G tanks and I want to move my common pleco.
