You're knocking on the door now. It won't be long at all, it happens fast. Keep a super sharp eye on the pH level and if it starts to drop, do an emergency 50% pwc. Last thing we want is the pH dropping out on you. The pwc's you've been doing should prevent if, but better safe than sorry. Good job man, you'll have fish before you know it.

I admire ur patience! :) u wouldn't regret this at all :D btw forgot if u mentioned it already but are u planning on adding live plants?

5/6 x Pygmy corys
1 x centre piece (Bolivian Rams or Dwarf Gouramis)

And myabe some shrimp

Oo nice! Im thinking of adding either diagnose or tetra to my 10g betta tank. Haha haven't/can't decide.

As for shrimp. They prefer planted tank. I'm not sure if anyone on AA tried them in an unplanted tank! But I guess it's possible.
 
I'm not fussed by shrimp either way .. they were mentioned that I could maybe add them but if they prefer planted tank then I will happily leave them out - makes no difference to me -they were only a maybe anyway!
 
It took my 20 gal fishless cycle almost two full months to finish.. the nitrite stage seems never ending.
 
Just dosed back upto 4ppm tonight .. everything looks ok still .. just taking its time!

Can tell nitrItes are getting lower as when I am testing, the initial colour is alot more blue than when they are higher !

Few hours until todays test so fingers crossed it's looking good still
