I'm wondering if my lighting is high/medium/low. I have a 55 gallon tank with a dual t5ho 54w. One bulb is 6000k daylight and the other is 6000k red bulb.
The fixture is 20 inches from the substrate.

I would put that in the medium light category...on my 60g, I had a dual T5HO with both 54w bulbs 6700K each and that put me in medium light so you should at least have medium...nearing the bottom of the tank though, that would get to pretty low light IMO.

It's a aquatic life. Each bulb has its own reflector I believe.

i have the same light, will put you in medium light, to "medium-high" if you dont have a cover over the tank and limit the amount of protein film at the top of the water.

regardless its a very good light and all my plants grow very quickly with the light, dry ferts, and pressurized Co2

Okay cool! Thanks for your help! I really appreciate it.
