Hi, i am starting on a new project to build a new bigger tank for my african cichlids.
İ am planning to make the width 150cm , but couldnt decide on depth and height.
Do you think depth is better 40cm or 50cm ? Also about height , i am thinking something between 45-60cm.
What are your suggesstions ?

For depth I can't see any issues, I'd go as large as possible. At 5 feet I think those dimensions will be ok either way.

For height, just see how far you can reach. Mine is 2.5 feet (75cm) high and it is a pain to reach into the centre of the tank. Great to add volume for same floor space, just not so practical sometimes.
