Waiting to get a GBR to add to my tank. Should I get one or two? I'm not interested in breeding them but will they be happier with a pal to play with? Anybody have any pros and cons for me to think about on this matter?

Current tank mates:
7 bloodfin tetras
8 assorted danios
4 cories
1 lonely guppy

Tank:
37 gallon
30"x22"x12"
Marineland Penguin 200

Well the cories and GBR might have a problem since they are both bottom dwellers, but if you have enough hiding spaces I don't think anything will happen, they are both calm species.

I think you should be good since the bloodfins, danios, and guppies take the upper 2/3. That means only the corys would be on the bottom with the rams, which i don't see being an issue. I think a pair would be fine your tank.
