peaceful fish stock

Ok... So far in my tank (29 gal aquaclear 50 filter)
4 nerite snails
1 mystery snail
3 platies
4 baby platies
6 cory cats
1 king betta

Everyone has been living peacefully for a while now, I want to finish my stocking.
Does anyone have a suggestion of any other colorful/peaceful fish I could add?
What do you think?

Presence of the Betta reduces your options so I'd suggest a bristlenose pleco to round you out.

Are you planning on keeping the baby platys?
I think without them you have room for a nice school of non nippy tetras such as neons, lemons or rummies (if your Betta plays nice).

Yea he does limit my options but he's staying, he's too cool. I don't want anymore on the bottom. As far as the babies go... If they are female I'm keeping them. All male platies will be removed.

Could I do harlequin rasboras? I do like their look, just not sure if they might be nippy

My betta freaked out over my harlequins, the constant swimming back and forth seemed to forever have him on edge.

IMO yes harlequins could work. I have 6 in a 10g with a Betta. He's very shy towards me but the rasboras don't bother him at all.

I've had White Clouds and Harlequin Rasboras in with my Bettas in the past.
YMMV.

Neon tetras spend alot of time at the bottom
