Getting angel fish in a few weeks after tank is cycled and my ph after testing tonight is 7.6, is that to high for angel fish? And what's the best method to lower it? Heard API ph down is good.

Not too high for angelfish. Angelfish are surprisingly adaptable. I've kept healthy angelfish in everything ranging from 6.5-8.0 pH. As long as you aren't keeping P. altum, I would not mess with your pH, personally. :)

when u use ph up or down u have to use it every water change which in turn gives u a big ph swing in your water which is more harmful to your angels and other fish. put a few good pieces of drift wood and some tall plants in there and dont mess with the ph
