What is this called? I see them all the time. The color is a darker green than I'm depicting here.
 
Welcome. It's as good as any macro for nutrient uptake, better than some, as it rarely goes sexual, like Caulerpa. It's also pretty. :)

OTOH, since it is a calcareous macro, it will also use up calcium in your system, so, keep an eye on your ca levels, and don't let it grow out of control.
