Hmmm. I've heard that tiger plecos will devour most plants or uproot them. But, severums are supposed to devour most plants as well and he only seems intent on destroying the red rubins, so it's pretty much a guessing game.

Well so far he just uses them as cover and protection. So I guess he's not interested so I think I can take a chance


40 gallon planted aquarium
1x leopard ctenopoma
1x albino bichir
1x tiger pleco


75 gallon native tank
5 pumpkin seed sunfish
1 red crayfish
1 spotted bass

Update: a ton of new "stems" seem to be sprouting out of the original stem

Normal. If you trim it 2 new stems will eventually form at the cut

UPDATE: went to the lfs and got 2 tropica ferns along with 2 danios! Feel like the tank is starting to come along ??

I believe danios prefer schools of 6+ but I could be mistaken.

Ik I am going to up that school to 5 but they only had 2 left and there really nice!!!! Beautiful colors
