Is it possible to add a plant or 2 in a tank that's established already (13 fish), pH about 7.1, no ammonia problems? I have an undergravel filter, so I'd be looking for something that I'd keep in the pots they come in, if possible.

Would this hurt the fish, and if I can do this, any word on precautions?

Danke shoen.

Nope, no real problem as long as the plants are from a tank that is not carrying disease, other than that it would be great for your fish. Check the plants well for snails.
